The lines in this picture immediately capture the eye of the viewer. Shape is evident through the repeating ladder squares that create a picture-frame while the ladder chains act as leading lines throughout the photo. The overlapping lines on the left hand side of the picture are also not necessarily the focal point of the image, but the color red contrasts from the rest of the photo. The contrast between the natural, organic trees and manmade, heavy chains also are an important part of this image.
ISO: 200-400: There’s a lot of natural sunlight in this photo, therefore the ISO would not have to be too high or too low.
White Balance: Sunny: The weather in this photo is sunny with natural light.
Shutter Speed: 1/60: There’s no blur in this photo, therefore the shutter speed would have to be low.
Aperture: F/11 or F/16: The F-stop would be either F/11 or F/16 because the entirety of the picture is in focus.
The picture frame created with the chains and the background are ultimately what makes this photo my best photo. The picture frame captures a landscape picture with a fence cutting through the middle of the photo within the frame. Also, the harsh contrast between the manmade chains and then the organic look of the trees and sky in the background keep the viewer engaged in this photo as well.
